| Advanced Layout Solutions was formed in 1995, following a decision by its three founding directors (Nigel Barkus, Ian Ladds and John Sutton) to provide a professional PCB Design service to the UK and overseas electronics industry, built around leading edge software and hardware. "We recognised that the market needed a service based on trust where the customer can feel comfortable talking about their design issues and requirements but also able to provide the skills to suit emerging markets and technologies". | ||||

Ian is a founder director of Advanced Layout Solutions and undertakes a number of roles including sales and marketing. He is also responsible for ALS's sub contact manufacturing partners, a role which he finds challenging and rewarding. |
John is the technical expert with our Allegro systems having used the software for some
20 years in its various guises. As a Director, John both designs boards and supports the rest of the team with new design techniques and solutions.
